The Monday Mix - Your Weekend ExtenZion

I just want to say that once I hit the PUBLISH button, the Jivewired attorneys are not going to be happy about this article, which is a blatant rip-off of some of the absolute worst late night infomercials that use beautiful yet faux-concerned women to prey on some very, very misguided, confidence-lacking men.....

Look at Bob.  Bob is smiling.

Why is Bob smiling?

Bob is smiling because he had such a great weekend, he decided to extend it by one day, and in doing so he is going to spend the afternoon listening to the Monday Mix on Jivewired Radio powered by Live365.

And that's today's theme -- extending the weekend and enhancing our post-weekend back-to-work Monday afternoon experience.

One way to do this is to enjoy today's Monday Mix.

Today's back-to-work soundtrack is a great summer-weekend themed superabundance of good music.  It is 100% guaranteed to extend your weekend into Monday and enhance your afternoon, providing all the vitality, virility and vigor you need to make it through the day, and hey, we don't even need any herbal supplements - just good music.

That should make you smile.

Just like Bob. And in saying that, I am in no way implying that listening to the Monday Mix is guaranteed to enhance a certain part of the male anatomy.

It was a great weekend wasn't it?  I looked at the weather maps and it was warm and sunny both Saturday and Sunday pretty much everywhere in the entire world.  My best guess for the wicked nice weather is that Mother Nature was one of the 300,000 women who had a post-Mother's Day coital tryst through AshleyMadison.com - but you will have to re-read last week's blog to fully understand what I am talking about.

Nonetheless, Mother Nature was smiling this weekend too.  Just like Bob.

Maybe not quite as creep-factory-ish though.

Seems like everybody was in a great mood this weekend.  Well, everyone except the women below.

AN ASIDE HERE IF I MAY:  The woman in the blue dress is actually the host.  Sweet Jesus! There is just something, to me anyway,  that is so damn attractive about a woman in a blue dress.  Not sure why, it just works for me.

But I digress.

The three other poor ladies are concerned that the men in their lives don't quite measure up because their men do not listen to the Monday Mix.  They are very concerned in fact, that because their men don't quite measure up, they may never experience true love again.  One even offered a poorly devised analogy: "It's like waiting your whole life to see your team go to the series, and then they ... drop the ball!"

Cubs fan much?

One way to read into that line is that her partner had to have one of his testicles removed after having sex with her hundreds and hundreds of times over the course of their reationship without fulfilling her even once.

All because he didn't listen to The Monday Mix.

So I have an idea.  I'll get my own spokescouple.

Excuse me, can you stand next to this 62-year old man and pretend you are his girlfriend and that you are 100% satisfied in your  intimate life all because he listens to the Monday Mix?  We'll pay you $40 in exchange for your pride and humility.

Thank you very much.

See that?

The Monday Mix really is a great way to extend your weekend and enhance that post-weekend back-to-work Monday afternoon experience.

Wow. That's two weeks in a row that I've used sexual innuendo to create the theme for the Monday Mix Radio Show.  The professor from my marketing class would be very proud, even if my attorneys may be ever-so-slightly angry with me.

Alisa Boniello has everyone at Jivewired lovestruck, which just happens to be the name of the latest single from her EP that dropped last week, which is also entitled Lovestruck.  I love that sort of musical symmetry.  And I am going to take it a step further here.........wait for it.........

Sweet Jesus! There is just something, to me anyway,  that is so damn attractive about a woman in a blue dress.  Not sure why, it just works for me.

But I digress.

Lovestruck is a great pop/top-forty-ish-ish  single and it is in regular rotation on Jivewired Radio and has been received very favorably by our listeners.

Boniello, who was raised in the town of Somers in Westchester County, NY, started taking classical piano lessons at age 5, and was singing in locally produced musicals by 12. In college she fused her years of training as a classical pianist with singing, and graduated with a BA degree in Classical Voice.

And now that same voice represents this week's breakout artist.

Do me a favor, and please go into the vault, and grab one of your insanely valuable Facebook LIKES and give one up for this very talented singer/songwriter.  You can teleport to her Facebook page by clicking this underlined link >>> http://facebook.com/AlisaBoniello

Tell Alisa that Michael from Jivewired referred you, if you don't mind helping a brother out, but let's keep the blue dress comment between us, please and thank you.

The Monday Mix airs from 12:30PM to 5:00PM CDT each Monday and is designed to help you get through that brutal after-lunch, energy-sucking span that kicks off every work week. This particular show will be a mix of old, deep album cuts and new indie music with a lot of genre crossover. No Adele. Sorry.

What else does The Monday Mix do? Well, it helps you discover new indie music by combining some really great under the radar tracks with more established songs that were, once in fact, under the radar as well. The hope here is that the culture shock of discovering your next favorite band won't be so enormously imposing if we surround the new stuff with some of your old, familiar friends.

Jivewired supports independent musicians by paying royalties for airplay on Jivewired Radio. Please help us support indie artists by listening to our station and by purchasing indie music. Thank you.

The links on the radio player will give you download options if you really dig on the music and some of the songs are offered for free.

To listen, just press play on the radio widget to the right or use this link to open in a new window that will allow you to listen when you navigate away from this page:
